The construction of chain link tank management has been implemented in 4 villages for chain link. Under this project tank bund repairs a steam weak bund and desiltation work has been under taking in 6 tanks, Diversion Drain & 1 Check Dam of the project area. This work has been carried out by the local group of families, SHG groups jointly. The silt has proved useful to soil and manure to the fields.
The project is an on going project supported by CAPART ( RC ) – Hyderabad. With the completion of tank repairs the water storage capacity in the tanks has been increased as well in ground water. Under the tank the agriculture land productivity has been increased.
